Shipping a SaaS MVP in 12 weeks isn't about working harder. It's about saying no to the things that don't matter for a v0.1. Here's the exact playbook we run at Youzad Studio.
Weeks 1–2: Strategy & design system
We don't write a single line of feature code yet. Instead we lock the value prop, map the 3 critical user flows, and ship the design system. Tokens, components, layout primitives — all reusable, all in Figma + Tailwind config.
Weeks 3–4: Foundation sprint
Auth, billing, database schema, and one CI pipeline. We pick boring, battle-tested infra: Next.js, Supabase, Stripe, Hostinger. The MVP isn't where we get creative with the stack.
Weeks 5–9: Feature sprints
Three two-week sprints, each shipping one critical flow end-to-end. Demo at the end of every sprint. We drop anything that drifts the timeline — there will always be a v0.2.
Weeks 10–11: Polish & beta
Empty states, error states, loading states. Onboarding tour. Performance pass. We invite 20–50 beta users and watch them break it.
Week 12: Launch
Public launch, monitoring dashboards live, support flows in place. Then the real work begins — iterating with real users.
